Fitness With Gru
Fitness with Gru is my long standing blog and was originally titled 'Running with Gru' as it entailed a running report/blog post for almost every charity running event I did from 2014 onward.
Each blog post is a detailed account of the events including lots of photo's from the various events and often lots of mentions of running friends met along the way.
In 2017 it changed to 'Fitness with Gru' as I started to post the odd blog about fitness and my charity work in general.
Look in here for detailed run reports of events I have recently done, and the odd lengthy blog post about fitness and nutrition in general.
A Return To Snowdon
'Return to Snowdon' is the ongoing story and blog about my Mums final return to Snowdon where her ashes are spread in the Valley below over looking Llyn Padarn near Llanberis.
This blog also contains posts and updates on my very own return to Snowdon. Where I will be doing yearly remembrance journeys and fundraising challenges that will also allow me to return to the area to pay my respects each year.
The first one in 2018 involved me successfully completing the new GB Ultras Mt Snowdon 50, which is a 50 mile ultra marathon with over 17'000ft of climb including going up and down Mount Snowdon in the earlier stages.
Running for My Health
Running For My Health is my mental health blog where I talk about my mental health struggles with Anxiety and how I first discovered I had it, how it has affected my life, what I have done about it, and how I try to live with it.
I also use this blog to try and raise awareness and to help others who may suffer with mental health issues.
Raising awareness and being open is important in order to show others that it is important to discuss our problems and not bottle them up. This will help lessen the stigma often attached to mental health issues.
Mountains for my mind
Mountains for mind is my new and second mental health related blog, but also outdoors related as it concentrates on the love of the mountains to help us get some valuable and often much needed head space, and to truly appreciate the calming wonders of the nature and scenery around us.
I also use this blog to try and raise awareness and to help others who may suffer with mental health issues.

I also use this blog to try and promote the new 'Mountains for the Mind' project ran by Trail magazine, Mind the mental health charity and several other companies who support it.
